Website accessibility confirmation demonstrates Brook Street's continuing commitment to corporate responsibility - London UK, 3 March 2005

Brook Street's recently launched website, www.brookstreet.co.uk, has received confirmation from the Internet accessibility body, the Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C), that it conforms to Level A of the WAI guidelines.

Brook Street, the leading temporary and permanent office and light industrial recruitment specialists, are undertaking a number of projects as part of their well established corporate responsibility programme - with website accessibility being a priority.

Although accessibility was achieved in line with the UK Disability Discrimination Act, it has only been recently that www.brookstreet.co.uk has achieved Level A of the WAI guidelines, which marks a lajor milestone in their ongoing process and development.

Joy Nicholson, Marketing Manager, comments that "at Brook Street we are committed to providing a service to all our users and we undertsand and appreciate that they all access information differently and face many barriers along the way. 

We are extremely pleased to have achieved the W3C's guidelines, but this is an ongoing process and we are committed to continually developing the website."
