GREAT OPPORTUNITIES!

Become a recruitment consultant with Brook Street today

Work for Brook Street (Cont.)

Temporary Controller

A Temporary Controller is responsible for managing a healthy list of quality applicants for a range of temporary assignments for our client lists. You will be expected to assess candidates and interview them thoroughly, as well as being both proactive in canvassing existing and potential clients for any temporary service needs they may have and reactive in placing your candidates, often at short notice.

Though it is a fast paced and demanding role, the opportunity exists to reap great rewards. You will be building a loyal and happy candidate base as well as a reputation for reliability with your clients, all the while delivering the quality of service that has firmly installed Brook Street amongst the UK’s most respected recruitment names.

Permanent Consultant

A Permanent Consultant is responsible for sourcing and placing applicants to specific permanent positions, following receipt of a detailed job specification from the client. As with a Temporary Controller, you will assess and interview candidates, building a clear picture of their career goals and noting their experience, as well as any areas in which they may require training.

When filling a permanent role, you will work to match the role to the right candidate as closely as possible, in order to minimise incompatibility and ensure a recruitment solution that benefits both parties. A Permanent Consultant will also need to be proactive in canvassing local business in order to identify opportunities, as well as confident in forwarding candidates to very particular permanent placements.

Branch Manager

A Branch Manager is responsible for contributing to company profitability through the effective management of the branch.  You will develop sales opportunities within the core business areas and maximise business with existing clients as well as manage a team of consultants by maintaining a positive team environment through an approachable and motivational style.  You will also be expected to take an active role, in conjunction with your Divisional Manager, in the selection and recruitment of staff members, within corporate guidelines.

It's a demanding, target-driven environment, but the rewards will be as great as the challenge.  Your success will be dependent on your team working skills and you will take lead in the training and development of your staff.  You will also monitor and communicate financial results and work closely with your operational colleagues to ensure our clients' and candidates expectations are consistently met, all the while delivering the quality of service to maintain Brook Street amongst the UK's most respected recruitment names.
