SQL SOFTWARE SUPPORT ANALYST Required immediately.
Our client is global software company operating one of the largest Financial and insurance systems.
The support team you be will required to work on supports sites across and international footprint, with clients opting for either dedicated or on dedicated team support. Role requires the use of SQL SERVER 2005/ORACLE and application tools to provide issue resolution in line with contracted SLA's as well as helping develop additional functionality as required by the client.
The role will be to work within a dedicated and dynamic SQL support team. You will support a variety of existing clients with queries and system configurations, the main focus of expertise will be SQL Server databases so experience with debugging and troubleshooting issues with SQL Server 2005 or oracle is essential.
You will the ability to demonstrate fixes and changes with end users and assist in QA and UAT testing efforts.
Typical resolutions will require understanding SQL Server or Oracle Procedures, views and functions as well as triggers and indexes within SQL Server 2005.
Posses knowledge and understanding of database design and best practice.
Hold a MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXP OF USING SQL 2005/ORACLE
