Section Administrator

Job Description

Our Public Sector client based in Birmingham New Street Station, is currently looking for a Section Administrator to support their Team. This will be Monday to Friday role for 35 hours a week, usually 7.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and then 7.30am to 1.00pm Friday. This will be a 12 month temporary assignment, paying £11.60 per hour. This role will be working fully onsite.

Your role will be to provide effective administration support to the Section Manager, this will include setting up and maintaining filing systems, updating databases and records. Administrating timesheets, rosters, opening/closing work orders.

Ordering PPE where necessary and also in some instances attending informal meetings and taking notes to follow up on points afterwards.

You should have had previous administration experience, with IT and interpersonal and communications skills. Knowledge of Excel and Outlook would be especially beneficial.

Please note this role will require a DBS check, and three years referencing.
