Job Description

HR Assistant

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit an experienced HR Assistant.

This is a contract role based in Twycross for initially 9 months.

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, use of the onsite facilities, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.

Salary: £35,000pa depending on experience

Job Description:
The HR Assistant will help with the implementation of services, policies, and programs aimed at maintaining a safe, positive environment, as well as the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce, within a gaming industry.
The HR Assistant will report to the Senior HRBP and must have demonstrable abilities and experience in the below:
Recruiting and staffing logistics
Performance management and improvement tracking systems
Employee orientation, development, and training logistics and record keeping
Employee relations
Company-wide committee facilitation
Communication between the company and employees
Compensation and benefits administration and record keeping
Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting
Employee services
HR filing system
Supporting Senior HRBP with ROB
Some payroll work when this function is on leave etc so can deputise.
Ensuring polices are up to date etc
Managing Ask HR function answering staff queries on general subjects.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a good intermediate level of Microsoft O365. Will be highly organized and able to multitask, together with being able to quickly establish themselves in the role. A self starter, able to manage their own time and prioritise workloads.

The role will require a high degree of ethics, dealing with very confidential information.
