Job Description

We are looking for an IT 1st Line Support Assistant to work for the Department of Health based in the city centre. This will be a temporary on going role covering 37.50 hours per week, Monday-Friday. The rate of pay will be £8.57-£9.62 after 12 weeks.

We are looking for an organised and flexible Desktop Support individual, capable of using their own skills and expertise work effectively on your own, under pressure of deadlines & be able to prioritise your own workload.

You will be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail, a natural ability to plan ahead, be keen to apply and grow your excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient and successful incident and request resolution, acting as the first point of contact for all customers both within the building and to our external customers based in Trusts. You will undertake a range of activities required to operate and support the Service desk team in the delivery of IT services
