By way of background, we are looking specifically for someone with 2-4 year pqe - not looking for NQ or someone who our post head of department would have to spend his time training up and teaching, and equally, looking for someone who will work with and for our head of department, most definitely not the other way around. They will need experience of dealing with financial settlements/ancillary relief. They need to be motivated, personable, family law practitioner (solicitor or FILEX) to work with our head of department, and his assistant.
We are a long established but modern thinking Legal 500 rated firm. That said, we do try and provide pretty flexible working for our colleagues so they can enjoy a work life balance. We work hard to provide exceptional one on one service at reasonable cost across all our teams. The more immediate short term need has arisen sadly because of bereavement. The long term need is that we are looking to grow our teams, and whoever we interview has to fit in with us as a firm and also has to have an eye on marketing/developing with the head of department and the team.
We are looking for a personable experienced solicitor or Fellow Legal Executive capable of managing a busy family law workload. Ordinarily we work open plan, although currently the majority of time is spent working remotely.

Statutory min employers pension. 20 days hols + bank hols, with +1 day per year completed service up to 25d/year (although with COVID we have allowed this year a week to be carried over as of right, as frankly, no one could go anywhere last year!).
