Brook Street (UK) Ltd is seeking an Industrial Cleaner for our client in Derry.

The Industrial Cleaner will work on a 24/7 shift system working 0700-1900 + 1900-0700 shifts on a 4 week rota.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the cleaner will be responsible for the cleanliness of the Plant and associated facilities. You will be expected to carry out a range of associated cleaning duties such as mopping, vacuuming, buffing and general cleaning. You should work to a high standard that our client has become accustomed to.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
" Working to an agreed schedule of works
" Vacuuming and dusting of all offices and meetings rooms
" Mopping and cleaning the toilet facilities
" Maintaining, care and use of industrial cleaning equipment
" Mopping / Buffing or Vacuuming all walkways & corridors within plant
" Removal of different bin waste to designated waste area

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
" Knowledge: Proven knowledge of COSHH and relevant H&S regulations
" Experience: Previous experience of industrial cleaning duties would be advantageous
" Experience: Previous experience of operating a Fork Lift Truck would be ADVANTAGEOUS
" Familiarity: Be familiar with materials, equipment and methods commonly employed in industrial cleaning duties.
" Physical: Sufficient physical strength to perform manual labour activities
" Education: Educated to at least Secondary Level Education is required.
