Our client is a successful, growing and developing Managed Service Provider, a Microsoft Partner - based in NW London. They are looking for a 3rd Line support Engineer to join the support team.
You will support business innovations and growth, whilst supporting day to day service operations and team escalations.
Working knowledge of Teams and Azure administration is essential for this role
" Responsible for monitoring incoming tickets raised for Infrastructure support
" 3rd line support for Active Directory and Messaging Systems (on premise and online).
" Administer VMware, backups, and carry out regular patching
" Installation and configuration of new hardware/software
" Form part of the on call roster to support the business needs outside of office hours. This consists of dealing with escalations as well as major incident management
" Proactively involve with internal projects and service improvements program
" Self-motivated and team player
" Liaise closely with 1st/2nd line support teams and knowledge sharing
" Excellent Business friendly communication and customer service skills
" Remain calm under pressure and provide excellent service levels in sometimes difficult circumstances
" Adhere to IT Change, Incident, Problem and Release management (ITIL)
" Teams and Azure,AD administration
" Knowledge of Server 2012/2016, installation and configuration
" Troubleshoot major issues and provide root cause analysis.
" Work closely with colleagues to keep documentations and operation manuals up to date.
" Experience of domains, exchange administration
" Active Directory including Group Policy
" Working knowledge of 0365
" SCCM knowledge desirable
