Job Description

A new opportunity for an Access Coordinator has arisen for an established Chartered Surveyors in central Newcastle.

We are looking for a diligent, trustworthy and pro-active individual who has the ability to thrive in an environment with a continuous stream of work whilst reporting to the Access Manager and the Head of Building Services.

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £20k-£25k depending on experience
Hours: Mon- Fri (8.30am - 5.30pm) Out of hours responses will be required (70 days per annum inc 25 weekend days) this is flexible working and inc working from home.
Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

Working as part of the access team to coordinate access for visitors / contractors to our client's properties
Aiding and assisting the Head of Building Services and the Access Manager
Responsible for evaluating and approving access requests, documentation, and liaising with internal / external stakeholders
Collating purchase orders, raising sales invoice requests and booking activities for supervised access requests
Reviewing planning documents and coordinating responses to 3rd party contractors requiring access to clients' properties
Assisting the Head of Building Services with in house reviews and compliance of health and safety documentation.
Maintaining a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first line of contact online and via telephone
Other administrative duties and reporting tasks.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge

Diligent, motivated, self-management, and good organisation skills
Commitment to outstanding customer service, and being able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience working in a professional office environment
Qualified to NVQ Level 4 is desirable
Prior knowledge of telecommunications, whilst beneficial, is not necessary and training will be provided
