Inverness
Accounts Administrator (Retail)

£21-25k

An interesting opportunity for an experienced accounts generalist within the retail arm of a Highland based business in Inverness.

Based at the Head Office, this is a fantastic opportunity for career development as the company continues to grow

You will be:
Collating, reviewing, recording and processing daily reports from all sites
Reconciling daily, weekly and monthly Cash, Credit Card, Credit Account receipts, fuel and store stocks
Administrating Lottery and PayPoint transactions
Approving and carrying out nominal coding of purchase invoices
Preparing general accruals and prepayments accounting to achieve an accurate monthly cut-off
Analysing monthly P&L revenue and cost trends, by site, with investigation, resolution and explanations where required and reporting same to the Management Accountant and Finance Director
Providing day to day administrative support to the Retail Operations Team
Developing working relationships with all site managers including site visits where required
Participating and reporting into Retail Management meetings
Providing general support to the Management Accountant and Finance Director on a variety of

projects as and when required

About you
We need someone that knows their way around an accounts department and can hit the ground running once they have had a full handover


You will:
Have excellent knowledge of MS Excel and be experienced in using it to provide detailed analysis
Have excellent report writing and presentation skills
Be someone that thrives on working with people across the business with the focus on supporting the Highland Fuels Retail team
Have 3-5 years experience in a busy accounts department
Possess a full driving licence as site visits will be required

This is an exciting role with a growing company offering a competitive salary of £21-25k.
