Job Description

I am looking for an Account Executive who will help manage key accounts and help to develop new business by developing ranges and sourcing new products.

The successful candidate will report into 2 of the company Sales Directors, and will be working closely with the design team, production and QA.

The pace is fast moving and the work very varied. You should be motivated, able to multi task, quick learner and ideally experience with dealing with the Far East and has worked directly with retailers.

If you have any marketing experience/social media experience this will work in your favour and you'll be looking towards the higher salary range.


Salary £27,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising daily with factories in the Far East
  • Briefing new product development to factories
  • Researching product categories and trends
  • Collating detailed briefs for the Far East
  • Preparing reports for customers in terms of trends / market research / competitor audits
  • Sourcing new product
  • Preparing customer quotes
  • Update costing model to calculate quotes
  • Working closely with the Design team, briefing in new concepts, packaging ideas, plannograms
  • Reviewing , user trialling and carrying out detailed checks on all incoming samples
  • Keep a log of all samples labelling and storing them in a tidy fashion
  • Reviewing lines with QA team being clear on test requirements and briefing factories
  • Briefing in packaging to the design team, which includes writing up the sales blurb for all packaging. Requesting cutter guides from factories
  • Checking all packaging
  • Completing customer documentation to ensure successful setup and delivery of products e.g. New line forms, price change forms
  • Chasing PO's from customers
  • Help prepare for meetings , organising samples and sending out samples to customers


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years buying / production experience
  • Attention to detail essential
  • Comprehensive in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Good multi-tasking skills and problem-solving skills
  • Work well on own initiative but also within a team
