Account Manager
Salary: £45,810 per annum
Location: Central London
Hours: Monday-Friday with flexible working between the hours of 8am-10am - (35 hours)

Our client is an award-winning registered trade union based in Central London, just a 5-10 minute walk from Soho and Mayfair. We are looking to recruit a full time Corporate Partnership Account Manager to join their Marketing and Business Development team on a temporary contract for 14 months.

As a Corporate Partnership Account Manager, you will be supporting the Corporate Relations Manager and you will be acting as an Account Manager as well as a key contact within the organisation for selected corporate partners and sponsors. Working in the Marketing and Business Development team will give you the opportunity to utilise your client relationship and strong and negotiation skills to
maximise income generated via sponsorship, partnerships and advertising.


Responsibilities of Corporate Partnership Account Manager:

  • Identify and approach potential corporate sponsors and partners with a view to building long term relationships and generating income
  • Identify and work collaboratively with organisation members and key stakeholders to develop products and services that would be of interest to sponsors and partners
  • Develop a strong understanding of the corporate sponsors and/or partner's products, future planning, and commercial pressures
  • Identify and work collaboratively with organisation members and key stakeholders to develop products and services that would be of interest to sponsors and partners
  • Increase income from sponsors, identifying mutually beneficial partnership opportunities; write engaging proposals, presenting opportunities to clients and negotiate rates. This covers, the whole spectrum of activities including sponsorship, events, campaigns, advertising and learning opportunities
  • Develop knowledge of industry regulations and governing bodies and apply these regulations in sponsorship projects and advise staff, members, and clients of their implications
  • Ensure accurate and detailed evaluations, including financial outcomes, are achieved for each sponsorship project
  • Ensure that all relevant departments are aware of sponsorship commitments and that these are fulfilled, deadlines met, and any changes are clearly communicated and agreed with the corporate partner
  • Work with the Corporate Relations Manager in developing appropriate systems to record and retain relevant information relating to corporate contacts
  • To maximise all opportunities available to encourage member recruitment and promote the benefits of joining the union

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of managing a partnership and working in a partnership environment
  • Strong communicator with the ability to form relationships with new and existing contacts, including stakeholders
  • Experience of working within a membership organisation would be desirable Enthusiastic with a positive working attitude
