Job Description

Brook Street (UK) Limited is currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Dungannon for an Account Manager to join their expanding sales department.

Summary of Role

A new role has evolved for an experienced Account Manager to join our clients commercial team.
In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Commercial Director in developing and maintaining customer accounts.

Responsibilities

* Develop and secure new accounts
* Maximise sales revenue, margins and performance by driving business growth and achieving positive results
* Plan and prioritise sales activities through developing and delivering PR and marketing campaigns
* Conduct customer review meetings
* Drive to meet and exceed agreed KPI's
* Management of customer questionnaires/store visits and audits
* Management of Service Level Agreements
* Arranging and attending client/potential client meetings where applicable
* Compose relevant proposals for potential customers
* Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries, customer enquiries, complaints
* Be commercially aware of competitors and aim to stay ahead
* Liaise with NPD and Technical Departments on product development and launches
* Reporting
* Participation in continuous improvement project work
* Any other duties and reasonable tasks within your capability as set out by management.

Requirements

* Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline OR a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
* Experience in the food industry is advantageous
* Strong commercial awareness
* Demonstrable experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG industry
* Organised and able to prioritise own workload
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Sufficient level of written and spoken English to maintain levels of safety
* Ability to work with minimum supervision and coherently with other team members
* Flexibility with working times to ensure consistency of service level agreements

Salary is negotiable based on experience
