We are delighted to be currently recruiting for one of our well-established accountants in Scunthorpe. This client is looking for the right candidate to join their ever-growing business.

The role will involve independent preparation of accounts, preparation of self-assessment tax returns and a range of other client services for example, general book keeping, VAT returns and assistance with accounting software. It will also require the candidate to maintain and develop new and existing relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will need previous practice experience, working with broad ranges of clients and will be able to work as part of a fantastic team, as well as independently. The candidate will also be required to be part or fully ACCA / ACA Qualified or Qualified by Experience.

Responsibilities & Duties

Preparation of self-assessment Tax Returns
Undertake general book keeping for clients
VAT Returns
Preparing client draft accounts
To assist with on the job training of trainees

Skills & Experience

Part/Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or experience qualified
Previous practice experience
Have the ability to work independently


Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00 - £40,000.00 dependant on experience.
