Job Description

Accountant:

A friendly family firm in Haslemere are looking for an experienced Accountant to work in their practice.
The hours are 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday as it is a permanent position.

The ideal candidate is to have the following:

1. Be able to produce year end accounts to a high standard for clients with up to 1-2 million turnover.
2. Have client contact and be able to answer technical queries if they were to call up.
3. Have knowledge of VAT in case of cover for the VAT department.
4. Be able to do a final review of accounts so they can be filed with hmrc and companies house.
5. Be able to work in a team environment
6. Complete personal tax returns as well as reviewing juniors work.
7. Dependant on experience, assist with some audit work
8. Experience with using Sage, IRIS Full accountancy suite, Xero and quickbooks
