Accountant desired for Chippenham location!

This is a permanent Accountant position that can be Part-time or Full-time.

To be considered for this Accountant position it is desired that you already have a good amount of Accountancy knowledge with Practice experience of 4+ years working in an Accountancy practice. You must also be AAT Qualified and you could be either looking to progress further with your accountancy qualifications or looking to stay in a stable Accountancy Firm.

Key skills:


- Minimum AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-managing organised and able to work under pressure.
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, SAGE, QuickBooks and IRIS.
- Payroll and auto enrolment experience would be an advantage

Duties Involved:

- Preparation of annual accounts for small limited companies, partnerships and sole traders from manual and computerised records.
- Prepare corporation tax returns and business tax computations.
- Prepare basic personal tax returns.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Undertake general bookkeeping duties on behalf of clients.
