Job Description

We are currently working with a firm of Accountants and Tax Advisors, based in Worcester, seeking an Accountant to join them on a full time permanent basis. The Practice offers services including tax, VAT returns, bookkeeping and payroll to name a few.

Your main responsibilities will include:
o Preparing and completing a full set of accounts
o Managing a client portfolio
o Assisting junior members of the team
o Reviewing work before it Is passed onto the senior accountant
o Completing limited company accounts
o Completing a CT600
o Use of Iris - Business tax and Accounts Production
o Use of Xero
o Use of SJD online - cloud based software
o Liaising with HMRC

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will be an Accountant with practice background, experienced with different types of small to medium-sized businesses, as well as personal tax and VAT Returns.
