Job Description
Brook Street is proud to represent a leading company in the digital printing industry in their search for a dedicated Accounts Administrator to join their dynamic finance team in Northern Ireland. This full-time, permanent role is perfect for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and are eager to contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Purchase Ledger Maintenance: Assist in accurately maintaining the computerised Purchase and Sales Ledgers.
- Purchasing Support: Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers.
- Credit Control Duties: Undertake credit control responsibilities, ensuring correct allocation to customer and supplier accounts.
- Customer Refund Administration: Manage customer refunds effectively.
- Stock Management Support: Provide assistance to Operations on stock management.
- Financial Reporting: Help produce monthly management and financial reports.
- General Administrative Duties: Support Senior Management, the Sales team, and ensure the smooth running of the business.
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure all work aligns with the company's commitment to continuous improvement.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by Management.
Experience and Qualifications
- Educational Background: 5 GCSEs or equivalent at pass level including Maths and English.
- Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced finance team and a minimum of 2 years' experience in administration.
- Technical Skills: Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word; experience with Management Information and ERP systems is preferred.
- Numerical Skills: Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable Qualifications
- Accounting Studies: Studying towards an Accounting Qualification or part-time qualified Accountant.
- Payroll Processing Experience: Experience with end-to-end payroll processing.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Opera accounts system or Accura MIS.
