Job Description

We are representing a client who is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small, friendly team in their Clitheroe office.

Work for an innovative specialist law firm. We are seeking the very best for the required role and this client also invests heavily in personal and departmental training ensuring they retain their most valued and committed employees.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Accounts Manager and dealing with a range of duties including, yet not limited to:

Dealing with any day to day banking of cheques
Entering Disbursements on ALB
Reconciling Petty Cash
Chasing of Overdue Invoices
Sending Statements to Clients
Entering payments onto ALB system (Training will be given)
Raising Invoices
Entering Purchase ledger Invoices on the system
Booking Travel for Solicitors-Trains and Hotels
Reconciling Business Charge Cards and entering on the system
End of month Spreadsheets and Reports
Filing

SALARY: £19,000 - £22,000 (negotiable depending upon experience)

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700 (1 hour for lunch)

LOCATION: Clitheroe, East Lancashire
