Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing and innovative company! This is a full time, permanent role based in Leicester. You will be working with the Accounts Manager on a daily basis to assist with processing accounts tasks and data.
Monday to Friday
£19,000 - £22,000
The role:
- Processing BACS and other payments
- Liaising with sales team and purchasing to resolve queries and enable timely payments
- Checking invoices, purchase orders and delivery notes
- Cross-referencing data and checking accuracy of entries
- Amending account and contact information
- Entering invoices onto the Sage system and reconciling supplier statements
- Creating supplier payment runs
- Chasing overdue returns/credit notes
- Processing employment hours worked
- Managing absence and holiday notifications Processing monthly payroll
Person Specification:
- Ability to understand and respect data and information protection
- Good IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible within the role
- Confident, polite and professional
- Experience of Sage 50 Accounts & Payroll would be useful, but not essential.
- Experience in an accounts function
- Numerate, methodical, controlled, accurate and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literate, with advanced working knowledge of and use of spreadsheets
- Flexible and proactive team player who is self-motivated
- Experience in an office environment
