Purchase ledger
" Code and check invoices
" Match invoices to delivery notes
" Check and reconcile supplier statements
" Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing supplier details
" File invoices and statements
" Deal with purchase ledger enquiries
" Purchase order processing
" Month end purchase ledger procedure
Sales Ledger
" Liaise with customers
" Enter orders
" Convert invoices
" Dealing with customer queries
Credit control
" Regular monitoring of and chasing outstanding debt.
" Reporting problems promptly to management
Stock control
" Enter stock
" Check and control stock levels
Petty cash
" Process staff expenses

" BRC Quality Standards Accreditation
" HR
Necessary attributes
" Good phone manner, clear diction
" Ability to work in a team
" Good maths skills
" Bookkeeping skills
" Excellent IT Skills - Excel, Word & Outlook essential, Opera a benefit
