This company, based in Salford is looking for an Accounts Assistant, reporting to the Accounts Manager you will have various ad hoc duties within this role that will include:
Raising invoices within various categories
Submitting invoices by post and download system
Inputting insurance invoices to drop box file
Updating invoices on sage system
Dealing with various customer enquiries
Customer contact via phone and email
Phone contact taking credit card payments and allocating to in house system Sending remittance advices out/ receiving remittance advices and allocating in order
Matching delivery notes to purchase ledger invoices
Various ad hoc duties within the accounts department
Hours of work are 9-5:30 Monday to Friday (possible overtime during busy period)
Candidates should have a previous experience within an accounts environment, experience of sales and purchase ledger and Sage experience is preferable. Excellent communication skills, good IT/Computer skills and be able to deal with people at all levels. Be a good team player and willing to help out in areas when required.
This is a permanent position and the starting salary is £7.90 per hour rising to £8.40 per hour after your successful probation period.
A uniform is provided.
Holiday entitlement is 4 weeks ( company is closed over the Christmas period ).
