Accounts Assistant

Competitive Salary - Temp to Perm

An expanding SME company that specialises in the supply of high speed, reliable internet systems to holiday and leisure parks throughout the UK have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a small finance team.

The successful candidate will be partially responsible for supporting, maintaining, and developing the group`s financial operations and structure. You will be enthusiastic, be able to work individually and as part of a team and have attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

• Sales Ledger
• Purchase Ledger
• Credit Control
• Stock reconciliations
• Fixed Assets Management
• Banking including reconciliations
• Assisting the company accountant with monthly and quarterly reporting duties

Essential Requirements:

• At least 1 to 2 years` experience in a similar role
• Numerate, well organised with attention to detail
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Proactive with an excellent work ethos

Desired Requirement:

Previous experience with Xero
Previous experience with Go-cardless
Previous experience with PayPal
AAT part qualified/qualified


Job Type: Temp to Perm - Full-Time 37.5hrs (Monday-Friday)

Salary: Competitive salary based on skills and experience
