I am delighted to be supporting my local client, a well-known and trusted name in the Inverness area, in their search for an Accounts Assistant. This is a new requirement due to continued growth.
The client will consider candidates looking for full or part time opportunities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, in size and as well as sectors and therefore have a varied and interesting workload.
Responsibilities:
" Preparation of draft accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
" Preparation of personal tax returns
" Preparation of corporate tax computations and returns Bookkeeping work for clients
" Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
" Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary Communication with HMRC in relation to client taxation matters
Essential Criteria:
" Positive and proactive attitude
" Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
" A people person, someone who enjoys working in a team environment and interacting with clients
" Practice experience, including accounting software
