Job Description

Brook Street are working with an Accounts Practice in Ross-Shire, who are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant to join their team .

To be successful for this role you must have a solid understanding of Bookkeeping - debit and credits and making payments and practice experience.

Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will be:
Managing accounts payables and receivables
Providing broker margin reports and payments regarding Back office and Accounting
Managing and maintaining fixed asset schedules and depreciation postings
Supporting with Statutory Audits as necessary
Booking and management of petty cash
Management information reporting on a monthly basis
Regularly reviewing and posting of company credit and transactions
Providing daily cash reports and Treasury cash management
Assisting with Client and Broker cash booking and settlements

The Successful Accounts Assistant will have:
Previous experience of working within a practice.
Excellent knowledge and experience of Accounts Payable
Knowledge of book keeping (Double Entry - Debits and Credits) as well as experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable are essential.
