Job Description

We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our successful client based in Wakefield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a wide range of Accounts Candidates to join a reputable and established company.

Within the role, you will assist the onsite accountant with the following duties:

VAT Return preparation and submission
Purchase Leger
Sales Ledger
Customer Credit control
Arranging Supplier payments
Multi Account reconciliation
Journal entries
HMRC VAT Validation
Dealing with customer returns

We're looking for a candidate with the following experience:

Experience within an all-round accounts administrative/assistant role
SAGE experience would be an advantage
