This role will involve a wide range of financial accounting duties, ensuring that all the transactions impacting the general ledger are accurate and in line with the relevant reporting standards so a background in accounting is a essential.
Some of your duties will include:
Assisting with the day to day management of the accounts receivable function and minimising debt
Costing customer orders that have been processed and preparing client weekly invoices
Posting invoices raised to clients account and sending invoices out promptly by email
Allocating payments received by cheque and BACs to clients account and reconciling sales ledger
Managing any invoice queries that occur, resolving all issues and raising credit notes when needed
Monitoring client accounts and chasing overdue payments by telephone, email and correspondence
