Role - Temp Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger)
Location - Tunbridge Wells
This is an office based role
Hours - Monday to Thursday 9am till 5pm and Friday 8.30am till 4.15pm
Start Date - ASAP
End Date - 3 months (August/September)
Pay - £11.00 - £13.00 dependant on experience

I have a company in Tunbridge Wells looking for a temporary candidate to start immediately and support the accounts team with general accounts duties as well as Purchase Ledger duties.
You will have previous experience working in a Purchase Ledger role, be self-driven and highly motivated, a strong team player with excellent communication skills and a high level of literacy.
Previous experience using IPOS or SUN ideal however not essential. Previous experience using other accounts packages is essential.
Your duties will include:
-Data Entry on Excel and bespoke system
-Processing purchase and sales invoices
-Process accurate Invoices
-Reconciling supplier statements
-Investigate and resolve queries regarding the purchase ledger function
-Resolve internal and external queries, being a first point of contact for enquiries
-Weekly preparation and finalisation of payments runs
-Ensure the invoice payment process is efficient and effective
-Entering of all payments and receipts including direct debits and standing orders
-Recording of credit card expenditure into the purchase ledger
-Entering of expense claims and petty cash expenditure
