Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Account Clerk working in a fast growing company, we are looking for an individual with an accountancy background, a clear understanding of office environments, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Applicants should be AAT qualified and be able to demonstrate experience of working with Sage 50.
Salary in the region of £17400 + annual profitability bonus
Hours: 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday (includes 1 hour lunch break) or 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday (includes 1 hour lunch break)
Holidays: 20 days per year + BH

Job Duties:
" Key data into company accounting system
" Enter and code financial transactions appropriately
" Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
" Preparing monthly management reports.
" Preparing statutory accounts.
" Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
" Reconciling Invoices received with various departments
" Issuing Invoices and statements to customers based on services rendered and/or goods sold
" Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any related queries.
" Make bank deposits when required and keep up records
" Managing petty cash transactions.
" Controlling credit and chasing debt.
" Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
" VAT Calculation
" Processing Payroll
" Review employee expenses and and make reimbursements
" Track expenses as they relate to specific projects and jobs
