Job Description

We're a global insurance, risk management and consulting services company offering clients and customers innovation and tenacity across 150 countries. We now have an exciting new position as an Account Executive.

About the job;

As the Accounts Executive you will be responsible for establishing a book of new clients, managing and providing a quality service whilst meeting client demands to achieve profitable renewal retention and growth.

Duties:

-Manage client/prospect/introducer relationships and grow the book/existing accounts, providing the most appropriate insurance and risk management solutions.
-Negotiate with insurers to obtain terms for clients that accurately and effectively match customer requirements.
-Manage own workload in order to effectively service the client relationship and ensure placements are completed within client deadlines.
-Ensure client information and sales plans are kept up to date.
-Provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance.
-Establish and manage a sales pipeline of potential clients.
-Analyse and interpret sales data to identify unexpected patterns and trends.
-Build up a sales pipeline of business opportunities that will ensure sales targets are met
-Proactively seek out commercial opportunities and partnerships
-Promote and sell additional applications and services to clients.
-Investigate and discover new sources of profitable business for the Operating Division and Group as a whole, including cross-selling
-Work closely with Account Handlers and Brokers to negotiate terms and conditions of placements
-Deal with internal and external queries from colleagues or underwriters.
-Ensure that premiums are paid in accordance with credit control requirements.

You must have an insurance background with strong communication skills being able to evident past relationship building with key stakeholders.


Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications (Cert CII/ DIP CII/Advanced Dip CII).
