Job Description

We are looking for candidates with an accounts payable or financial background to join our client NHS England. If you have recently graduated with an accounting or finance degree this may be the perfect job to get you kick-started within the industry.

Hours: 37.5 per week
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9-5
Pay: £9-10 per hour
Location: Leeds, Hybrid model - 1 day in office and home working

Role overview

? Clearing the dummy supplier queues on a daily basis

? Support NHS England requisitioners

? Support of the No Contract, No PO, No Pay policy in line with SFIs

? Support NHS England transition to e-invoicing

? Debt management of Key Suppliers

? Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice/payment queries

? Escalate supplier unresolved issues to management

? Clear non-po queues on a daily basis

? Carry out regular supplier reconciliations

? Liaise with NHS SBS to resolve AP invoice queries

? Support on Accounts Payable related queries

? Admin support to management

? To carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required

Essential Skills
* Understanding of basic accounting principles, practice and terminology
* Process Improvement experience
* Experience of writing training notes
* Good knowledge of Excel to intermediate level
* Good personality and able to interface with other team members and external contacts
