We are recruiting for a Accounts Payable Analyst on a temporary basis for a Client within the Education Sector based in Birmingham City Centre.

This is initially a 3-6 month contract with the potential to be made permanent.

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (Finish @ 4pm on Friday)
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid working option: 3 days in the office)
Pay: £11.79

THE JOB PURPOSE

You will join the Finance Team as an Accounts Payable Analyst support the Accounts Payable Manager

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Have an Accountancy Qualification or studying towards one.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent working experience in finance preferably Accounts Payables
• Proficient with MS office- Word, excel etc
• Be able to work with Excel using formulas, VLOOKUP's, Pivots
• Good at written and verbal communication as you will need to talk or correspond with internal and external stakeholders
• Good analytical skills to understand supplier ledgers to find and resolve accounting errors, duplicate payments or other issues with AP transactions.
• Oracle ERP working experience will be beneficial

• Initial 3-6 month temporary contract through Brook Street
• £11.79 per hour
• 20 days holiday + 8 Bank holidays (pro rata)
