Brook Street Coventry is recruiting for an accounts receivable analyst to join an internationally renowned car manufacturer on an initial 6 month temporary contract. Based within my clients state of the art UK head office which is located just outside of Coventry City Centre, this role will be working within the accounts receivable team.

The main purpose of this role will be to monitor the flow of income into the company from customers, and recognise where they may be in financial difficulty. You will be targeted on levels of overdue debt against total debt to ensure customers' accounts are kept as up to date as possible.

Other duties will include;
" Producing regular reports based upon customers debt
" Creation and maintenance of cash sheets for reconciliation purpose
" Calculation of credit limits for key customers

Essentials for this role are;
" Able to recognise and escalate problems when necessary
" Able to work to strict time constraints
" Able to make key decisions and identify the best approach to problems
" Excellent communication skills
" Patient and determined
" 2-3 years within an accounting environment
" Knowledge of Excel, Kerridge and SAP
" Experience of working within the automotive sector would be beneficial

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 08.30 - 16.45 and 08.30 - 15.30 on Fridays, starting hourly rate is between £9 - £9.50p/h with an increase after 12 weeks.
