Primary purpose Admin Assistant full time Monday - Friday
In this role you would be expected to do a range of administrative tasks and provide excellent customer service.
Working hours and rate of pay
- full time position working Monday - Friday 37 hours per week between 9 - 5 and could be asked to do an occasional Saturday shift
- pay is £9.32 p/h
Please note, this is a temporary position of 3 - 6 months with the possibility of extension. The anticipated start date is December 2021/ January 2022 however you could start earlier pending a successful application for security clearance.
Essential: Must have a in date British passport and proof of NI
Key Responsibilities may include:
" To provide administrative support to the operational command unit in delivering a range of services.
" To co-ordinate and move applications, letters and files
" To record file movements and application data through input to
" To maintain pigeon holes, filing in strict alphabetical order.
" To link incoming queries with relevant application forms / case files
" To ensure that scheduled daily tasks are identified and actioned.
" To correctly dispatch correspondence to customers including appropriate enclosures and using correct mail services.
" To data input
" To undertake post opening duties.
" Maintain security and confidentiality at all times
" To work flexibly and provide support to other operational colleagues / areas as required
" To take responsibility for one`s own attendance, performance and personal development
Note: Some of these duties may involve physical work including light lifting and the transfer of boxes of work between business areas for which manual handling training will be provided. An employee may be required to carry out other duties within the scope of the grade and within the limits of their skill, competence and training.
