Job Description

THE COMPANY

We are currently looking for an Administration Assistant for our client who is one of the largest industrial induction equipment makers based in Wolverhampton. They currently have 2 people working within the admin team and are looking for a 3rd individual to join them!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Assist with the processing of service enquires and orders
  • Collection of all quotations in a central location
  • Assist with the control of rental equipment location and scheduling
  • Assist with maintaining spreadsheets for forward planning of equipment and manpower
  • Maintain spreadsheet of historical records of completed projects
  • Assist with the collation of time sheets and receipts for invoice preparation
  • Ensure excellent customer relationships to promote growth of the service business
  • Booking hotels and travel around the UK for Engineers
  • Scheduling engineers and being a point of call if the engineer have any problems whilst onsite
  • Typing and scanning of engineers' reports
  • Redirecting calls

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Minimum five GCSE (Level 5 or above)
  • Achieved or working towards Level 2 in Business Administration
  • Capability to work both individually and as part of a dedicated team
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
  • Confident, friendly telephone manner
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Eager to learn

SALARY AND WORKING HOURS

  • Start date: ASAP
  • 34 hours per week
  • Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4pm, Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • £9.50 an hour
