Job Description
We are recruiting a temporary member of staff at Band 4 at 3 days per week (22.5 Hours) to work for one of our government clients. The pay for this role is £9.28 per hour, going up to £10.79 per hour after 12 weeks worked. The Temporary Worker will be required to work 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday), starting at 09:00 and finishing at 17:00, with 30 minutes lunch (7.5 hours per day). They will be part of the Business Office, providing routine administrative support tasks according to well-established procedures.
Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
¢ Co-ordinating the receipt of MP correspondence, FOIs and Parliamentary enquiries, actioning and chasing in a timely manner to ensure official deadlines are met
¢ Answering telephone calls and relaying messages
¢ Supporting Senior Managers with diary Management and general secretarial duties
¢ Minute Taking and preparing papers
¢ General administrative duties including Photocopying, and filing
Typical qualifications and experience:
¢ Experienced administrator
¢ NHS experience preferable
¢ Two GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent
¢ NVQ Business Administration level 1 (or suitable administrative experience)
¢ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook email
¢ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate with staff and stakeholders of all levels
¢ Ability to work well as part of a team
