Brook Street are currently recruiting for a part-time Admin Assistant to work with our Emergency Services client based in Bedford. This role is being initially offered as a three month temporary contract with the possibility of extension or becoming a permanent contract for the right candidate.
The working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm and the pay rate will be £9.93 - £10.54 per hour dependent on experience.
You will provide administrative support by following set procedures and you will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
- Allocating daily work to inspection staff
- Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
- Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
- Preparing routine correspondence
Previous administrative experience with high attention to details is a must and you will have the experience in using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
You will need strong interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as excellent communication skills.
You will be able to provide professional, polite and helpful responses to any internal and external queries or issues.
