Brook Street has been chosen as a recruitment partner to hire temporary admin and clerical workers for central government departments across the UK - giving you the chance to gain credible experience in the public sector.
We`re currently recruiting on behalf of a local government department for an Administration Assistant in Islington . This is an ongoing, long-term temporary assignment, working (insert work days/hours/shifts) and many of these opportunities offer a significant pay increase on completion of 12 weeks in the same department.
Providing routine administrative tasks, your duties will include:
Sorting and distributing mail
Photocopying, filing, posting or proof-reading data
Answering telephone calls and relaying messages

Potential for long-term or multiple temp assignments once you hold security clearance

Typical qualifications and experience required:
Two GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
NVQ Business Administration level 1 (or suitable administrative experience)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good communication skills, both oral and written
