Job Description
Brook Street is currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is based in Newport City Centre.
We have multiple positions available for admin assistant - counter.
Contract: Temporary assignment 6-9 months (work volume dependant)
Start date: ASAP (as soon as CTC cleared)
Salary: £9.50 per hour
Hours: The counter assistant roles include alternating shifts on a rota:
Week 1 consists of 3 weekdays 7.45am - 5.45pm and Saturday 7.45am - 3.45pm
Week 2 consists of 4 longer shift week days 7.45am - 5.45pm
Clearance: CTC
Primary Purpose
Counter Service Officers within Customer Service Offices and Centres will contribute to safeguarding identity through managing customers arriving to counter services and carrying out related activities to deliver a world class customer service within the Customer Service Network
Key Responsibilities
* Greet all customers and visitors at reception and provide appropriate assistance
* Effectively organize the daily appointments, welcoming customers, setting expectations, explaining the process, putting customers at ease and handling queries including complaints
* Check customers in for appointment at the appropriate time, complete required checks and establish if applicant is fit for interview
* Plan and prepare for all allotted interviews, ensuring that any required special arrangements are facilitated
