Job Description

Location: Leeds City Centre- Mixture of hybrid working between home and office

Hours: Monday- Friday 37 hours per week

Salary: £14.96 per hour

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work for our client within the Environment Agency. This will be a long term temporary assignment.

Overview of role:

A great opportunity has arisen to join the Estates team as a Senior Support Assistant. Working as part of the Estates Support team you'll provide administrative support to approx. 80 professional estates surveyors.

Reporting to and working with your Team Leader you'll provide direct support to the team of 10FTE to deliver an effective and efficient service to the wider estates team.

In the role as a Senior Support Assistant you'll coach new and inexperienced team members, develop reporting tools and reports on performance. Your days will remain varied as you also participate in projects whilst building good relationships with your customers and partners.

Experience/Skills required:

As a Senior Support Assistant in the Environment Agency the environment will be at the heart of everything you do: the high quality of support that you'll provide will help to ensure we maximise our financial profits and drive forward positive environmental outcomes for our local communities.

* As an excellent communicator you'll demonstrate your ability to tailor your language and style to suit your audience, being able to explain technical issues clearly and concisely.

* You'll demonstrate that you can work as part of a team and unsupervised. As a natural organiser, you'll confidently manage your time to achieve tight or conflicting deadlines.

* You'll have experience in identifying issues or areas for improvement, providing a range of options to support decisions and seeing them through to completion.

* You'll be numerically literate and confident working with Microsoft Office applications using IT innovatively to improve workflow, analyse and interrogate numerical data.
