Job Description

A full-time temporary role has become available within the Liverpool area, within a government department.


hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday, office hours.
Pay: £10.29 per hour increasing to £11.20 per hour after 12 weeks.
Due to covid 19, this role is currently a working from home role with some attendance to the office required. This role will likely move to full office working in the near future and for this reason it is important that you are able to commute to the office.

Duties:
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, track and follow up on actions and distribute of notes of meetings.
- provide diary management support for the team
- Schedule meetings and supporting organisation of events
- Organising travel
- Set up and maintain manual and electronic files, as required, and ensure original documentation is retained or archived
- Complete purchase orders and obtain supplies e.g. stationery
- Provide cover for staff on leave or when workload fluctuates, to ensure services are maintained
Typical qualifications and experience:
- Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
- NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
- Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
