Job Description
Admin Business Support
This is a contract role for 12 months with onsite presence and the possibility of some remote working.
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, use of the onsite facilities, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.
Salary: Up to £30,700pa depending on experience
Our client requires a highly organized individual with a good working knowledge of Office Products but with the ability to also learn new software. You must be able to juggle multiple projects and have a proven ability in the following.
The role will involve Event Support; To include all event Logistics both Virtual and Face to Face.
Support Collaborative Research Programmes, manage briefing documents, webpages and general administrative tasks.
Provide Finance Support; Draft contracts and gift letters (Swiss JRC, EMEA PhD, One-Off Gift Letters) using pre-defined templates. Route agreements for signatures, follow up with stakeholders as necessary and store signed contracts in Contracts Web Process. Some management of payments associated to contracts and other gifts/conference sponsorships.
The successful applicant will have:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and be quick to learn new software.
Candidate must be proactive, able to deal with ambiguity, self-prioritize work resources, and juggle multiple tasks in a manner transparent to the team.
Must have the ability to work independently to achieve results with a high degree of accuracy, being very detail oriented.
Ability to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group that involve contact at all levels of management.
Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and ability to accommodate working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals.
Ability to be entrusted with the knowledge and handling of confidential information.
