Brook Street is currently recruiting 3 Administration Officers on a Fixed Term basis to help with a temporary increase in work. You will be joining a small team based at the Home Office in Govan who provide an effective support function to Presenting Officers, the Admin Team Manager, the Senior Caseworkers and POU Team Leader.
The main responsibilities are to identify and check all relevant files prior to appeal hearings and to carry out post-hearing activities in an accurately and timely manner.
Duties include, but are not restricted to:
o Processing court lists as required by EO Team Manager.
o Requesting files and appeal bundles from all operational areas, using initiative to chase missing files and bundles.
o Actioning Appeals Right Exhausted records and reports on a daily basis.
o Processing bail application documents for bail hearings
o Dealing with (and resolving) telephone and fax enquiries
o Processing and responding to correspondence, emails etc.
o Various administrative duties as required within the unit.
o You must hold current CTC clearance
o Ability to work collaboratively and with flexibility
o Time management - be able to prioritise work load
Pay rate £7.98 per hour rising to £10.60 after 12 weeks on assignment.
