Job Description

Our Public Sector client in Bury St Edmunds, is seeking an experienced Admin Officer to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.

The rate of pay is £10.86 an hour. 37 hours per week Monday - Friday (8-4/9-5).
Holiday entitlement and pension scheme is available.

The client is based within the city centre, within a minute walk from the bus station.

The role can be physically demanding as you will be carrying case files across different floors (trolleys provided), please bear this in mind when applying for the position.

The role will include, but will not be restricted to;

- File management and maintenance
- Checking incoming paperwork
- Post Opening/sorting
- Answering telephone quires
- Taking payments over the phone
- Processing work from the Judiciary
- Carrying case files across different floors
- Create and update records
- Data entry
- General Administration

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work as part of a team, along with working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also have experience in data entry, and outlook. They will need to have great attention to detail as compliance procedures need to be met
There is a kitchen area for staff to use whereby a Microwave, fridges etc and seating is provided. It is a 2-minute walk away from the town centre which is great for staff - especially in the summer months at lunch.

The rate of pay is £10.86 an hour. Holiday entitlement and pension scheme available.
