Job Description

A new, exciting position has become available to work for a Government body as an Administration Officer/Inspection Support. The position will be paid £12.29 an hour, working Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week, this role is initially working 3 to 4 days in the office during training however once fully trained it reduce to 2 days per week office based and the rest of the week working from home.

The Main duties and responsibilities will include:

" Providing support for recruitment exercises
" Maintaining data management trackers
" Minute taking at the L&D boards and HR Review meetings
" Supporting the HR & Inspection Support Manager in drafting Fee Paid Associate Agreements, and Secondment Agreements
" Answering telephone calls to the general enquiries line and taking appropriate action
" Maintaining the correspondence tracker to record details of each item of correspondence and all relevant telephone calls received
" Support the HR & Inspection Manager with arranging training for HMIP
" Administrative support with the Business continuity planning
" Hotel and travel bookings
" Stationery and IT orders
" Booking meeting rooms
" Providing cover for other inspection support staff including drafting correspondence responses on behalf of Chief Inspector

Experience that is essential for the role:
" Excellent organisational/prioritisation skills and the ability to work to and manage conflicting deadlines
" Effective team working and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues within and outside the Inspectorate.
" Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, and deal with difficult situations whilst remaining professional.
" Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
" Energy and enthusiasm, and the capacity to adapt to new situations and work flexibly

For this position if successful you need to be able to pass a DBS clearance and provide 3 years of references.
