Job Description

Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone.

Our justice system defends our fundamental rights and freedoms. It is a cornerstone of our modern society and it must serve all those who call on it, when they call on it. From some of the most vulnerable people in our society, to families in crisis, claimants and commercial businesses - HMCTS has a responsibility to administer a justice system that is accessible to everyone and operates efficiently.



Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of our Public Sector Client for experienced Administrators to work in Leicester City Centre

Hours between 08.30 - 17:30 - Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week

Pay rate: £11.88 per hour

Assignment length: Temporary 5 months initially with the probability of extension.


The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

- Good general administrative skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
- To work closely with the Judiciary and stakeholders
- To be educated to GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths
- Must be IT literate especially in Microsoft Excel and to be able to pick up new software quickly
- Deal with enquiries via email and over the phone
- The ability to communicate effectively
- Problem solving skills


Qualifications required;
5 GSCE's C grade or above


The selected candidate will be a confident verbal and written communicator with great customer service skills, have good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook, strong administration skills and ideally will have worked in an environment where maintenance of confidentiality is essential.
