Job Description

This role is to work within an established public sector organisation based in Alnwick. It is an exciting opportunity to work within administration within the medical sector. The role is to start as soon as possible, initially until the middle of November with a view to be extended. If successful, your responsibilities will include:

-Collating and analysing fairly complex information and data
-Submitting results in a written report
-Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
-Ensure patients and visitors are greeted in the appropriate manner
-Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained
-Co-ordination of secondary care appointments
-Ensure patient medical records are updated
-Telephone and email correspondence
-Using share point inhouse database
-General administration and follow correct telephone procedures

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

-Military medical experience is highly advantageous but not essential
-Administration and reception experience
-Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
-Full UK driving licence would be desirable

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 8:00am until 4:30pm with a payrate of £10.35 p/h. The role is to start as soon as possible until initially the middle of November with opportunity for it to be extended further.
