Job Description

The Ministry of Justice - Admin Officer
Location: Skipton - BD23 1RH
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)
Pay: £8.87ph increasing to £9.78ph after 12 weeks

This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.

Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full time Administration Officer to join the Team at the Skipton Law Courts with our client, The Ministry of Justice. The role will include working as part of a flexible team. This is a very interesting role, carrying out effective and efficient support to the administration team.

Responsibilities include:
- Organising the incoming and outgoing post
- Extracting and filing court papers
- Updating e-files and outlook calendars/diaries
- Drawing court orders and drafting letters
- Photocopying court documents
- Customer Service - face to face, telephone and email
- Administering Skype and Video hearings
- Case working on court computer system

What we are looking for:
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask
- Quick learner
- Organisational skills are essential
- Being able to work independently following initial training and with guidance to refer to
