Job Description

The Ministry of Justice - Admin Officer
Location: Leeds City Centre
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)
Pay: £9.78ph

This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.

Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full time Administration Officer to join the Team at the District Magistrates Court in Leeds City Centre with our client, The Ministry of Justice. The role will include working as part of a flexible team. This is a very interesting role, carrying out effective and efficient support to the administration team.

Responsibilities include:
- Organising the incoming and outgoing post
- Photocopying court documents
- Entering data onto Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and using Microsoft Word on a regular basis
- Data entry
- Liaising via telephone with legal professionals and court users
- Handling confidential information
- Referring to guidance to determine whether certain documentation needs to be kept or disposed of securely

What we are looking for:
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work on dual screens is essential for this role
- Quick learner
- Organisational skills are essential
- Being able to work independently following initial training and with guidance to refer to
